Kira Allen-Eelbode, HHP

Kira combines extensive professional training with impactful lived experience to empower individuals navigating complex, long-term health journeys. As a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Neuropsychology Coach, and Peer Support Specialist, she brings a multifaceted approach to wellness that integrates physical health, neuropsychology, and genuine connection.

Kira’s drive to support others stems from her own medical journey, which included over a decade of misdiagnosis before receiving accurate answers. Today, she manages several complex, overlapping conditions, including Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, POTS, MCAS, Small Fiber Neuropathy, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Gastroparesis. Her work bridges the gap between clinical understanding and the daily realities of living with complex multi-system chronic illness.

Recognizing the critical need for local connection and reliable resources, Kira founded the EDS & Dysautonomia Support Group of Southeast Michigan. Driven by her passion for community building and holistic care, Kira is committed to understanding her clients' experiences, shortening the path to answers, and fostering supportive spaces for healing.

Veronica Cowan, RN

Holistic Nurse Coach

Veronica brings a deep, compassionate foundation to her role as a Holistic Nurse Coach. With six years as a registered and certified neonatal nurse before transitioning into pediatric hospice care, her extensive clinical experience in high-acuity environments developed her dedication to supporting families and patients through their most vulnerable moments.

After stepping away from clinical nursing due to her own journey with complex chronic illness—including Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, POTS, CCI, MCAS, and Fibromyalgia—Veronica redirected her passion toward patient advocacy, community building, and peer support.

Her personal experience navigating a lengthy diagnostic process and living with chronic illness gives her a rare, firsthand understanding of the physical, mental, and emotional toll of complex health challenges.

Veronica is dedicated to ensuring no one has to navigate chronic illness alone, combining her clinical expertise with lived experience to empower others on their wellness journeys.
